Skype is closing, we're moving to Slack
Farewell old friend: Skype shutting down.

Farewell old freind
Although its debated if Skype is mostly hated or loved, it has been a stable companion for more than 20 years,
and if we like it or not, it has been a major communication platform in especially the iGaming industry.
The good things
For what its worth, it was a free, easy to use, communication platform.
And looking back, a relatively performant application, especially compared to Teams.
We're moving to Slack
Its no secret that the last couple of month's we've been inviting our customers and partners into Slack chats, in an effort to bring over all the contacts we could.
Going forward, this will be our main "live support" b2b communication platform.
Why not Teams?
Its tempting to just blame bad performance and the unnecessarily advanced feature set, or the fact that the company simply applies brute force to get customers.
But really, for company sizes like ours, its at matter of lack of"context switching".
Teams are built for ordinary companies, with clean organized groups of people, preferably internal.
Not messy relations that go back and forth and sideways, between vendors, clients and old contacts, this is where Slack shines.
Although we're sad to see Skype go, this was the only way to finally put it down.
(Certainly didn't go willingly)
